Happy Halloween!

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Halloween. We did our trick or treating last night so I figured I’d share with you a photo of my graveyard.

This is the first time I tried using fog. Worked fairly well, but even the smallest of breezes wreaked havoc with the fog. Next year I would love to add this:

You have no idea how much I want that thing…

Who is willing to pony up a couple grand? Or I could do a kickstarter campaign and you could all get in on the making my graveyard epic action.

He sat on the bench across the street and watched. She met a friend for lunch, which seemed to be par for the course. For a few minutes he thought she’d be alone for the first time since he’d started watching her. Her friend was only running late. She had her usual-a Caesar salad. Her friend ordered a club sandwich. They talked and laughed while he dreamt of his future with her from the other side of the road.

Eventually, she would be by herself. He caressed the chloroform soaked rag in his pocket and smiled. There’s always tomorrow.

He went there to forget, to let go of the memories, but instead sat on the bench remembering everything about her. He remembered her smile more than anything else. That smile was infectious, alluring, and somehow timid all at the same time.

A boat in the water caught his eye. It looked like her. He saw her everywhere since he’d squeezed the life out of her in a fit of rage. Random strangers looked like her. Inanimate objects looked like her. Even his own reflection staring back at him looked like her. Her smile, though, was gone. He missed it.
