This post was written for Six on the Sixth, a prompt I created, using the theme word “weather”. Each part is its own story, but combined they create a longer story. I do hope you’ll visit the prompt post and take part in the fun.

I can’t imagine line in a tornado or hurricane prone area. The devastation is heart wrenching and costly. Great post.

It is hard to imagine. I don’t think I’d be able to live in a tornado prone area. A hurricane prone area wouldn’t bother me all that much as long as my house wasn’t in danger of flooding.

i read your rendition and think i still am not creating a 6 word story. no dis on my own work, i just see the 6th differently… love your addition.

Nothing wrong with seeing things differently. Sometimes that’s the best way to see things.

[…] like a challenge, and Adam‘s microfiction prompts for 6-word stories are certainly a challenge - but fun […]

Powerful writing Adam, you captured the fear I imagine a tornado would bring. “Twisting towers tore through our town.” was a very nice line!

Awesome stories! My favorites are Escalation and Carnage. “Funnels dipped,” is quite descriptive. And I love the alliteration of, “Twisting towers tore through our town.”
